One of the most unique characteristics of Longevity Sea Grapes is the ability to rehydrate back to a fresh-like structure after storage.

Our dehydration process is designed to preserve the natural structure of the sea grapes while extending shelf life and improving logistics efficiency.

THE TWO-STEP REHYDRATION PROCESS

Step 1: Normal Water

Place the dehydrated sea grapes in a bowl of normal water to allow them to expand and restore their natural structure.

Step 2: Ice Water

Transfer the sea grapes into ice water for approximately five minutes. This step helps reduce saltiness and improves texture.

After rehydration, the sea grapes regain their characteristic popping texture and are ready for consumption.

For the best eating experience, we recommend consuming the product within 15–20 minutes after preparation.

WHY THIS MATTERS FOR INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTION

Traditional fresh sea grapes often require strict cold chain management and have limited shelf life.

By contrast, dehydrated sea grapes provide:

  • Up to 12 months shelf life
  • Reduced logistics complexity
  • Lower transportation costs
  • Flexible inventory management
  • Access to markets where fresh sea grapes are difficult to distribute

This combination of convenience and product performance makes dehydrated sea grapes an attractive solution for distributors, retailers and foodservice operators worldwide.
